Background:

Born in Iron Mountain, MI, and raised in Florence. I attended Florence Elementary, Middle, and High School and graduated in 1998. Post high school I attended the University of Wisconsin Oshkosh, where I obtained a degree in Physical Education and Health. While at UW Oshkosh, I had the opportunity to play football for 4 years.

In addition to being the Athletic Director, I teach a variety of Physical Education classes, Adapted PE, and coach JV Boys Basketball and Varsity Baseball.

My wife Amy is a teacher here at Florence Middle School. I have a 17-year-old son Evan, a 15-year-old daughter Kamdan and a son Emmett who is 5 years old.

My hobbies include basketball, golf, ice fishing, and hunting. 

I am blessed to have the opportunity to share some of the great academic and athletic experiences that I had as a former student at FHS with our current student body.
